Cancer, a lot of energy, time and resources is directed towards your hopes
and dreams for the future this month, your friends, your wider network and associations
and your wider family, your impact on the community and involvement within the
community. This is a time to do some long-term planning for the future. Around
the time of the full Moon on 4th May, you will be having a think and
going within to figure out what those dreams are and how you can turn them into
reality. On an external level, this period will be connected to your home life
and what’s happening at work as well as with your income, so for some of you, this
can also mean a house sale or purchase – perhaps you need a bigger one or
expand your current home for various reasons. You still have Jupiter in your
sign for another two months, so anything is possible. Think about what began in
November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – an idea, a thought or a
concept is coming to fruition.
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the
‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible
thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it
now. In particular, when it comes to
(joint) finances where you seem to display considerable ambitions now - usually
of the ‘having it all’ variety. For you, it very much has to do with
finances, your financial position and potentially a bonus or a pay rise. It’s
the time of the year for you to look into increasing your salary, your client
base or make plans on how to achieve your financial ambitions. Once Jupiter
moves into Leo in July, you’ll certainly see the results of plans you make or
continue to work on now.
The new Moon on 18th May in Taurus, again, touches upon your finances and any plans you make now
to increase your bank balance bear their fruits over the coming months. This
new Moon happens every year only that this time around you have Mars giving you
some extra energy and drive while Saturn at the other end of the spectrum makes
you a little conservative. This is not a bad thing, it means you keep
expectations in perspective and remain realistic – you are certainly not a risk
taker now who invests in speculative ventures.
Of course the other area in life where this is a helpful aspect is
romance. Romance is serious business these days, with some challenges or, at
worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) with fewer opportunities than
you may be used to. Saturn at the moment want you to stay clear of people that
are inappropriate and don’t keep their promises, while Jupiter wants you to
remain optimistic and outgoing. This month is great for combining the two and
making mix with people that have your best interests at heart. You may have to
kiss a few frogs but ultimately, you’ll understand why. Have a great month, Cancer!
